HASOMED Science® also handles all inquiries (repair, service, purchase of used devices) for the legacy products RehaStim/RehaMove, RehaDigit/DigiTrainer, RehaGait, RehaIngest, chin rest and the three-arm pendulum on behalf of HASOMED GmbH, with reference to the applicable terms and conditions.
RehaMove & RehaStim
HASOMED GmbH will discontinue distribution of the product RehaMove & RehaStim for the European Economic Area on December 31, 2023. We would like to thank all our existing customers for their loyalty and will of course continue to be available for support questions. Please use our HASOMED Science® contact form for your inquiries.
What is RehaMove & RehaStim?
A neurological disorder often results in nerve failure. As a result, the muscles supplied by the paralyzed nerve no longer receive impulses. The result: muscle cells are broken down. With RehaMove, impulses can be artificially generated and muscles stimulated. Functional electrical stimulation (FES) with RehaMove conducts electrical impulses to nerves via electrodes. The nerves transmit the impulses to muscles. The muscles contract and move. With the help of RehaMove, specific movement sequences can be created — for example when cycling, gait training, stabilization exercises or foot lift weakness.

How is RehaMove & RehaStim used?
A neurological disease often leads to nerve damage. The muscles supplied by the paralyzed nerve no longer receive any impulses. The result: muscle cells break down. Functional electrical Stimulation (FES) assisted movement training with RehaMove & RehaStim is very important during therapy and rehabilitation processes of paralyzes. It is an effective method to relieve muscle spasms, prevent or avoid atrophy due to immobilization, increase the local blood flow or increase respectively maintain the range of motion. Therapy with functional electrical stimulation (FES) is for example recommended in Germany and part of the evidence-based S2 guideline "Rehabilitation of the lower extremities, standing and walking function in people with paraplegia".
DigiTrainer, RehaGait and RehaIngest
The products “DigiTrainer - Hand Therapy”, “RehaIngest - Swallowing Detection”, “RehaGait - Mobile Gait Analysis” will no longer be distributed by HASOMED GmbH as of December 31, 2021. We would like to thank all our existing customers for their loyalty and remain available for support questions. Please use our HASOMED Science® contact form for your inquiries.
Chin rest
The HASOMED chin rest can be used to fix the human head in various application scenarios and is therefore versatile and can be used across industries. Please use our HASOMED Science® contact form for your inquiries.
Three-armed pendulum
The three-arm pendulum is used for practical implementation and scientific investigation of control concepts and as a laboratory experiment in teaching. The three-arm pendulum is an experimental setup with a linearly movable carriage or slide on which up to three freely swinging pendulum arms can be mounted. The objectives that can be impressively demonstrated with the aid of the three-arm pendulum include reaching one of the unstable rest positions of the pendulum and quickly approaching the stable rest position. For this purpose, the only manipulated variables available are the travel speed of the carriage and, as measured variables, the carriage position and the arm angles. Core tasks of the three-arm pendulum are:
- analytical and experimental system modeling
- design of state controllers for non-linear systems
- observer design
- trajectory drive
High manufacturing quality and the selection of high-quality components of the three-arm pendulum ensure that the highly dynamic setup meets the high demands on the mechanics, the sensors and actuators as well as the computer technology. The three-arm pendulum is characterized by precise travel, minimal backlash and very low slip of the moving components. The pendulum is controlled via the real-time capable development system dSPACE MicroLabBox, which comes with the associated Matlab/Simulink toolbox for developing the software.
