About us

HASOMED Science®, as an ISO 13485 certified company, has the mission to support scientists and universities in their study or research projects with products and know-how to ensure the best possible study or project success in the context of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) or Electromyography (EMG). 

 

Furthermore, HASOMED Science® collaborates worldwide with manufacturers of robot-assisted therapy devices to develop new therapeutic approaches by utilizing HASOMED Science® technologies and know-how, thereby contributing to the highest, most professional, and most modern standards in patient rehabilitation. 

 

HASOMED Science® also handles all inquiries (repair, service, purchase of new and/or used devices) for the products P24 Science and I24 Science, as well as for the legacy products RehaStim/RehaMove, RehaDigit/DigiTrainer, RehaGait, RehaIngest, chin rest and the three-arm pendulum on behalf of HASOMED GmbH, with reference to the applicable terms and conditions.

P24 Science

P24 Science (FES) is a device that can be controlled via a special interface from an external device, such as a PC using MATLAB, Python, etc., to generate and output electrical impulses. Up to eight channels can be stimulated simultaneously.

P24 Science does not have a battery. Instead, it uses a USB-C interface with a defined protocol (HASOMED ScienceMode®). The intensity and timing of the impulses can be individually adjusted to the needs of the user using various parameters.

P24 Science is designed exclusively for research purposes, studies, or product development.

‍With regards to potential future developments, P24 Science was developed and tested taking into account additional requirements (e.g., IEC 60601-1 / IEC 60601-1-2 / IEC 60601-1-6 and IEC 60601-2-10), which, however, do not result from its intended use.

The I24 Science (EMG) is a device that can be controlled via a special interface from an external device, such as a PC using MatLab, Python, etc., and can be used for potential and impedance measurements. Up to four channels can be used simultaneously, three for potential measurements and one for impedance measurements.

I24 Science does not have a battery. Instead, it uses a USB-C interface with a defined protocol (HASOMED ScienceMode®). The device includes a lithium coin cell battery for the backup circuit, which saves the time and backup registers.

I24 Science is designed exclusively for research purposes, studies, or product development.

With regards to potential future developments, I24 Science was developed and tested taking into account additional requirements (e.g., IEC 60601-1 / IEC 60601-1-2 / IEC 60601-1-6 and IEC 60601-2-40), which, however, do not result from its intended use.
